Palola x With Autumn Silk Habotai Twillies Dyeing Workshop

Palola has teamed up with Autumn Brown, textile artist and Founder of With Autumn, a local textile dyeing studio, to offer a series of collaborative textile dyeing workshops, hosted at the With Autumn studio.

During these hands-on workshops, Autumn will be teaching participants the art of bundle dyeing, a safe, non-toxic and incredibly enjoyable technique that yields stunning results.

Each participant will be dyeing a pair of silk habotai twillies using natural dye extracts and botanicals. Learn tips and tricks to achieve desired colour intensity and variations.

Participants will also learn three different tying techniques so that the silk twillies can be worn with Palola’s Yumi slides.

The silk twillies are versatile pieces that can also be looped on a handbag handle or used as an accessory on your wrist.

This workshop is meant for participants of all levels, and no prior textile-dyeing experience is necessary.

All raw materials and tools will be provided for the participants during the workshop, as well as light refreshments.
